Description:Midwest Staffing is looking for an experienced Manual 12ton DiAcro Setup Operator to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. In this role youll set up and operate manual 12ton DiAcro press brakes to bend shape and form sheet metal parts according to specifications.
Essential Duties:
Set up and prepare the manual 12ton DiAcro press brake.
Read blueprints and specifications for setup and bending.
Install appropriate tooling and dies.
Program machine settings like bend angles and tonnage.
Operate the press brake to shape sheet metal accurately.
Monitor and adjust machine operations to ensure quality.
Follow safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or six months of related experience.
Experience as a Setup Operator in sheet metal manufacturing.
Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision tools.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures.
Detailoriented and able to work both independently and in a team.
