Responsible for managing field installation technicians and crews who are installing network transport
equipment and components as well as DC power plants and batteries within central offices and data
centers.
As part of a global corporation our Network Expansion Solutions (NES) division has been providing preconstruction and network installation services to telecom carriers for over 45 years. This includes Inside and Outside Plant Engineering (OSP) services for US Carriers inclusive of LECs CLECs Wireless and MTSOs. Annually CTDI performs over 15000 installation orders 7000 OSP design orders and over 75000 provisioning and field service orders.
Salary ranges from $110000 $1350000
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan coordinate and manage the activities of all field installation technicians and supervisors.
Act as the primary point of contact for the customer as well as for operations installation and
project management teams on technical matters related to assigned projects.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in telecommunications transport
technologies and central office environments.
Update project schedules financial projections and resource utilization weekly.
Ensuring projects are completed on time and to customer and CTDI specifications and quality
standards.
P&L responsibility and management of assets and preparing weekly revenue and cost reports.
Engages in employee relations initiatives promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns
to maintain a positive work environment.
Work with warehouse to ensure all material is received appropriately and transported to
appropriate locations undamaged.
Provide technical and engineering field support.
Physically visiting and supervising completed and in progress projects in the field.
Ensure all company customer and project policies procedures and standards are followed.
Ensure all safety standards and programs are upheld and technicians are trained.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 35 years of management experience in a central office managing transport and

network equipment installations.
Must have knowledge of telecommunications transport technologies and a strong understanding
of central office environments and industry standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with our customer.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Strong PC skills especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must be flexible to take on additional projects and job duties when required.
Must have a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets Company requirements.

ability to travel regionally (also noted below).
Preferred Skills and Experience
DC power plant installation experience.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Work environment includes office warehouse and data center settings.
Ability to travel regionally (a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets company
requirements are required)

This Employee Privacy Notice Privacy Notice describes the collection use and sharing of your personal information through the course of your tenure with Community Test Design Inc. (CTDI we us or our) and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

We share your personal information as follows:
Within CTDI. We share personnel personal information within CTDI and among its subsidiaries and affiliates to receive IT services/security Human Resources tax and accounting and general business and employment purposes. Access to personal information is limited to those on a needtoknow basis.
With Service Providers. We will share your personal information with our service providers to assist us in managing and administrating your tenure. These service providers include IT support human resource management software providers health insurance payroll expense processing benefits plan providers and professional advisors (i.e. accountants legal).
With Third Parties. We will share your personal information with third parties such as legal advisors law enforcement agencies or governmental/regulatory bodies in order to protect our legal interests and other rights protect against fraud or other illegal activities for risk management purposes and to comply with our legal obligations.
During a corporate reorganization. In the event that we enter into or intend to enter into a transaction that alters the structure of our business such as a reorganization merger acquisition sale joint venture assignment consolidation transfer change of control or other disposition of all or any portion of our business assets or stock we will share personnel personal information.
