We are looking for a Shipping Operator to join our Fabrication Center. You will join a company:

What will you be doing
As a Shipping Operator you will be responsible for several processes to ensure we are shipping a quality product to our internal customers across our Stone Systems location. A Shipping Operator will perform functions ranging from quality control to packaging & shipping of our finished good this role works closely with other team members in maximizing overall production & shipping efforts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for quality control by reviewing/auditing incoming and outgoing product for accuracy and inconsistencies
- Prepare appropriate documentation for picking loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting comparing them to templates measuring dimensions and marking any defects for possible rework prior to packaging & shipping.
- Responsible for safely packaging the finished materials for shipping.
- Coordinating outbound shipments with the Outsourcing coordinator to ensure material is arriving safely and in a timely manner to its final location.
- Responsible for wearing all personal protective equipment (safety glasses earplugs waterproof gear face mask etc.
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed and that materials are properly stored
- Work in a collaborative environment by helping coworkers in other stations if needed
- Other duties as assigned
What are we looking for
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Experience in packing finished goods
- Experience operating Forklift
- Experience in shipping & receiving.
Desired:
- Experience in Construction Industrial and Manufacturing fields
EDUCATION
Desired:
- High School Diploma/GED
KNOWLEDGE
Required:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook etc.
SKILLS
Required:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
- Ability to stand and wear a respirator for 8 hours a day.
- Basic knowledge in math (adding subtracting measurements etc)
- Basic knowledge in maintenance
