Job Description

POSITION:CPAP Investigation Technician
FULLTIME/PARTTIME: Full Time
LOCATION: Dublin OH

React Health sells and supports its product and services in the acutecare nonacute and home medical equipment markets. GENERAL SUMMARY
The Investigation Technician is a vital member of the Service team. The focus of this role is to receive and provide technical investigation on React CPAP and Oxygen devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year applicable experience preferably including 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience working in a GMP/ISO regulated environment a plus
  • General mechanical aptitude
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Fast Learner and selfmotivated
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience assisting product maintenance/troubleshooting.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Physical Demands
  • Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.
  • Required to lift 35 lbs. throughout the day.
  • Required to perform benchwork including the use of hand tools for 6 hours per day.
  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location department or line of business.

Working Conditions
  • Requires moving and lifting of heavy equipment.
  • Predominantly operates in an office/shop space.
  • Willingness to work in varying conditions.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions:
  • Follow established procedures and protocols with attention to detail in both performing operations and recording results
  • Perform Investigation on CPAP devices
  • Receive and decontamination of incoming CPAP and Oxygen devices
  • Record keeping and updates
  • Perform duties using regular test equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures practices and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing best practices
  • Follow security safety and testing procedures for all work performed
  • Perform tasks to assist other technicians following instructions
  • Perform assigned work independently and maintain a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings. Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.
  • Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.
  • Attends all meetings inservices training or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor.
  • Provides customer focused interactions.
  • Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.
