A growing tax accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of tax professionals oversee tax return processes and ensure the delivery of highquality tax services to clients. This role requires a strong leader with a CPA certification and extensive experience in a tax CPA firm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of two tax professionals providing guidance training and performance evaluations. Lead the team in delivering highquality tax services.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for clients addressing taxrelated inquiries providing expert advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Tax Return Review: Oversee and review all tax returns and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal state and local tax regulations.
- Leadership: Drive team performance set priorities and ensure efficient task completion. Implement best practices and process improvements within the tax department.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Certification: CPA certification required.
- Experience: 5 10 years of experience in a tax CPA firm required.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in tax software and financial applications.
- ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
