Securitas is currently hiring for Event Security Officers at our event venues in Newark and Harrison NJ.
Event Security Officer Hiring Event
- Date: April 3 2025
- Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Location: Sports Illustrated Stadium 600 Cape May Street Harrison NJ
- Enter through the VIP Entrance
- Parking: Available on the street or in the North Lot
Position Details:
- PartTime Only
- Must be available on weekends and have a flexible schedule during the week.
Job Description:
Securitas is looking for reliable and dedicated Event Security Officers to join our team at Sports Illustrated Stadium! As a security officer youll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests attending events.
Responsibilities:
- Check bags and screen guests to ensure overall safety.
- Control arena access by verifying tickets and credentials.
- Manage crowd control issues during events.
- Provide friendly guest services and direction.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure safety and security at the venue.
- Weekend evening and occasional holiday shifts required.
Requirements:
- Ability to respond effectively during emergency or stressful situations.
- Must have a flexible schedule including availability for weekends evenings and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs with occasional running or sprinting.
- Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills for handling customerrelated situations.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Verifiable work history.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
- Must meet state licensing requirements.
- Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid NJ State Security SORA License.
