Job Description
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to gain a deep understanding of product functionality and documentation needs.
- Develop highquality userfriendly documentation that meets applicable standards and serves the intended audience.
- Create easytounderstand user interface text online help and developer guides.
- Design tutorials to assist endusers in effectively utilizing various applications.
- Analyze existing content and explore opportunities for content reuse and singlesourcing.
- Establish and maintain a structured information architecture for documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical writing specifically for software documentation.
- Ability to produce highquality detailed documentation with precision and clarity.
- Strong ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and convey them effectively in text and visuals.
- Familiarity with GIS domain knowledge (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent command of written English with strong articulation and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development processes.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (preferred).
