Your role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivational Senior Feel Good Suffolk Advisor to provide holistic health and wellbeing support to clients accessing the FGS service whilst supporting the FGS Operational Lead to provide supervisory support to the operational team.
What you will need
Feel Good Suffolk provides healthy behaviour support to residents of Suffolk looking to stop smoking manage their weight or become more physically active. East Suffolk Council has a team of Advisors that support people across the district by assessing triaging and delivering interventions.
We are introducing a new role Senior Feel Good Suffolk Advisor to support the daytoday coordination of our Advisor team and to ensure safe and effective delivery of our services. The Senior Feel Good Suffolk Advisors will provide mentoring and supervision of the Advisor team carry out quality assurance checks and oversee the induction and training of new Advisors.
As an Advisor you will be required to triage and undertake what matters to you clientcentred assessments build individualised support packages refer clients to appropriate services and support and deliver 1 to 1 and group healthbased interventions. You will support and empower the client to use their skills and networks to overcome barriers and make positive changes to improve their health and wellbeing. As Senior Advisor you will also support clients with more complex needs which may include clients with various long term health conditions and/or issues with accessibility.
