Job Description
Pay:$15.5016.00 per hour!
Nature of Work:
Cleaners are responsible for the daily cleaning of agency buildings and occasional deep cleaning required to maintain buildings. Cleaners will be responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the Cleaning Supervisor. They must complete tasks including but not limited to vacuuming sweeping emptying trash cans dusting shelves cleaning windows and mopping floors. Cleaners may also be asked to perform special projects such as floor cleaning/buffing deep cleaning of ceiling vents and other heavy cleansing projects.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery such as floor strippers and carpet machines.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (Hazardous Communication standards).
- Basic reading and writing ability for communication purposes and cleaning product use.
- Ability to workscheduled shifts.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a cleaner is preferred.
