In this role you will collaborate closely with line actuaries to construct rating models in Radar software based on rating manuals or spreadsheets.
You will be responsible for validating Radar premiums against the database ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Additionally you will conduct scenario testing on the model to assess potential changes to rates providing valuable insights to support decisionmaking processes.
Proficiency in running prefabricated queries is required with the ability to make small relevant changes when needed.
Additionally the candidate should be able to create new queries for adhoc requests.
The role will involve contributing and coordinating with both onshore and offshore teams so excellent communication skills are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
6 years of experience in actuarial or pension roles demonstrating a strong foundation in these areas.
Familiarity with General Insurance principles and practices is preferred.
Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL R and Python enabling efficient data manipulation and analysis.
Strong MS Excel skills are required and additional knowledge in VBA/Excel macros will be advantageous for data handling and automation.
A background in actuarial papers is a plus.
1 or 2 years of experience specifically using WTW Radar will be highly beneficial indicating familiarity with the platform and its functionalities.
