Carry out the necessary activities and develop and / or ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the quality of the product / material / service complying with the clients requirements.
Provide support in the development of the QMS when required.
Identify or collaborate in the identification of the risks of the QMS and carry out the necessary actions to mitigate or eliminate such risks.
Lead action plans derived from nonconformities customer complaints or opportunities improvement performing root cause analysis using quality tools (such as 8D 5P Ishikawa) implementing the necessary corrective and preventive actions (production derogation quality wall etc. that ensure continuous improvement of the system and meet the requirements of the client.
Technically evaluate or collaborate in the evaluation of internal complaints analyze the indicators and coordinate the multidisciplinary teams that will be responsible through the establishment and monitoring of the respective PDCA to reduce the number of complaints and improve said indicators.
Ensure compliance with QMS policies through training and awareness ensuring that the staff works in a standardized way and aligned with the groups guidelines.
Ensure the correct identification of and compliance to the legal requirements applicable to the organization.
Promote awareness of respect for the product safety characteristics customer focus and quality of service.
Ensure the implementation maintenance deployment and continuous improvement of the QMS processes under the required standards of the VDA and / or IATF reference standard performing or participating in the monitoring maintenance updating and order of the documentation related to the quality plan and the QMS records (instructions visual aids FMEAs control plans etc..
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Quality or Industrial) preferred.
5 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of reference standards: ISOIATF VDA 6.3 Formel Q.
Accredited auditor in reference standards: ISOIATF VDA 6.3.
Knowledge of Quality Environment and PRL management systems.
Knowledge in CoreTools: APQP PPAP FMEA SPC MSA.
LEAN and/or Six Sigma Experience (Green belt or Black belt is preferred)
Ability to communicate effectively / Bilingual a Plus.
Experience working on multidisciplinary teams.
Creative problemsolving skills
Adept critical thinking skills for complex issues
Experience in a globally and technically diverse workplace.
Strong attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
