Job Description
Description of the Role:
University Home Care is looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Oakland County. As an Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for helping patients of all ages regain their independence and improve their daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating patients physical emotional and functional abilities.
- Creating individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.
- Assisting patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Teaching patients new adaptive techniques to improve their independence.
- Monitoring patients progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Michigan.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
