Our AntiMoney Laundering team (AML) Central team is now proceeding with the recruitment of an Experienced Professional (Associate or Senior Associate) based in Athens.
The AML team is responsible for the development of processes for the implementation of regulatory requirements regarding KYC (AML and Sanctions Screening). At the same time the team supports the engagement teams for the completion of KYC profiles and monitors their timely update based on our policies.
The position is KYC professional and will assist in AML transformation process planning and implementation of new systems and processes for ensuring and monitoring firms compliance with AML policy and preparation for the forthcoming KYC project.
Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team
The AML and Sanctions Screening procedures
Client AML/Sanctions Screening enquiries XLoS
Compliance with AntiMoney Laundering Policy
The monitoring process established for AML/Sanctions
Other Regulatory Compliance activities connected to the AML/Sanctions
What we are looking for
A Bachelors degree in a related field (Business Law etc
At least two 2 years of relevant working experience
General knowledge of regulatory and business environment (preferably including the area of AML/KYC)
An inquisitive nature which is inclined to investigate identify issues and solve problems
Ability to exercise professional judgment in performing the tasks assigned
Ability to implement and adapt to new or changing environment
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a range of key stakeholders
Strong communication & project management skills
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
