We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our dynamic team where precision and excellence are of utmost importance. In this role you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. As a Quality Technician you will collaborate closely with various departments including production engineering and supply chain to implement effective quality control measures. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will allow you to identify potential issues in the manufacturing process and suggest improvements.

You will also be responsible for conducting tests and inspections on materials and finished products documenting your findings and reporting them to relevant stakeholders. Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • 4 years of proven experience as a quality technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment such as calipers micrometers volt meters etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively convey qualityrelated information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook Excel etc. and other computer programs.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs from the floor to chest height.
  • Battery experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Document and maintain accurate records of inspection results and testing procedures and report findings to the quality manager.

  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.

  • Monitor and analyze data from tests and inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support training initiatives by sharing knowledge on quality standards and practices with other team members.
