Job Description

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner to provide inpatient services for our center for eating disorders.

At The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt we provide comprehensive eating disorder treatment for adults and adolescents. At our eating disorder treatment center our team of experts understands that each disorder has its own unique set of causes symptoms and health risks and every individual may experience the illness and the recovery process differently. Psychiatric Providers are a critical part of our multidisciplinary teams and possess unique expertise and a strong focus on providing quality mental healthcare in the highest level of inpatient care setting. This position will serve individuals who have one or more serious and persistent mental illnesses and have received previous psychiatric treatments.

General Summary:

This is a licensed professional position requiring knowledge and licensure in psychiatric nursing allowing the diagnosis of mental health disorders as well as the licensure to prescribe psychotropic medications.

Requirements:

  • Must have a current license to practice in Maryland at the time of hire.
  • Must haveat least 12months ofprescribingexperience.
  • Must have at least 2 years experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in inpatient setting/ clinic postgraduation.

The pay range for this position is $135000 minimum to $185000 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to board certifications and years and level of related experience.
