1 First ShiftAre you the type of person who is passionate about delivering the highest quality product to your customer Are you excited to champion Vermeers brand by ensuring Vermeer product meets customers expectations for superior quality In this role you will oversee inprocess and endofline operations to ensure the product conforms to Vermeer standards and specifications. Were looking for a peoplefocused and processoriented problem solver who has a keen eye for detail and the ability to drive adherence to Vermeers standards.What Youll Do
1. Gauge conformance to product specifications via inprocess and endofline inspections.
2. Document nonconformances and defects return nonconforming products to suppliers and request corrective action as applicable.
3. Communicate performance to production areas for awareness and improvement.
4. Execute guided inspection ship hold and holdfordisposition processes.
5. Coordinate internal inspection and testing.
6. Collaborate with production and other functional areas to investigate issues and support root cause analysis and problemsolving activities.
What Were Looking For
Associate degree (A.A. or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school or equivalent work experience preferred.
Minimum six months of related experience and/or training.
Ability to pay close attention to detail read blueprints and interpret standards print tolerances and other production specifications in order to accurately evaluate product and meet production needs.
Effective communication and relationship building with both internal and external customers.
Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of fractions percentages and ratios.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office CAD and other software.
