Description
Hire Resolves client a reputable civil construction company specializing in largescale infrastructure projects is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced LowBed Driver to join their team in Wellington.
Responsibilities:
Operate and drive a lowbed truck to transport heavy equipment and machinery to various construction sites.
Ensure cargo is properly secured before transport and inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions.
Plan travel routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of cargo.
Assist in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck as needed.
Comply with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.
Requirements:
A valid Code 14 drivers license with no endorsements.
A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
A minimum of 5 years experience in lowbed driving within the civil construction field.
Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English.
Residency within a 70 km radius of the Wellington area.
Ability to load and unload heavy equipment onto the lowbed.
Willingness to work away from home occasionally.
