Weekend Caregiver

Job Summary

We are looking for compassionate caregivers! The right candidate has an ATeam Caregiverattitude!

One who has the heart to care is friendly flexible reliable and the ability to provide many levels of skilled support to our clients. We are also looking for bilingual live in Nannys and Retired Teachers as well as caregivers that live in or near the New Orleans area and River Parishes. Flexible hours 6am 8pm>

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as showering bathing dressing and eating

• Remindclients to take prescribed medication

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments walks etc.

• Assist with personal care and hygiene

• Plan and prepare meals

• Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so

• Perform housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals including serving and other tasks if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work WEEKENDS (days or nights)

• Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or inhome care environment is preferred

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Supportive and compassionate

• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver preferred

• Take pride in providing high quality care

• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
