A prominent Charleston law firm is seeking a legal secretary / assistant to support multiple paralegals and attorneys.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years recent legal support experience in a law firm setting is a MUST.
- Trucking & Transportation law highly desired.
- Must have experience providing support to multiple people.
- Must have good administrative skills including Word Outlook and type 55 WPM. (assessment tests will be given).
- Ability to determine work priorities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to compose correspondence and reports.
- Proficient with all law firm equipment; Scanner copier fax dictation machine switchboard etc...
- Schedule depositions & mediations.
- Perform and general clerical duties.
- Ability to work individually or a team member.
- Willingness to participate in shared office duties and requirements.
