This is a chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
We are seeking someone in the Maryville/Greater Knoxville TN area who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a highquality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable supportive and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 familylike setting for an individual.
This role will help care for an individual in need of assistance with medical appointments and minor assistance with grooming.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Drivers License
- Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
- Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
- Must be open to supervisory visits in your home
Our FamilyModel Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support this income is tax exempt.
