Bedford Center for Nursing and Rehabilitationis looking for a Cook to join the teamat our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn NY!

Cook Responsibilities
Prepare food inquantities according to the menu recipe and number of persons to be served
Comply with statefederal and all other applicable health care safety and sanitation standards
Monitor and recordtemperatures in refrigerators and freezers
Inspect specialdietary restrictions of residents to assure that the correct diet is served toresidents
Process diet changesand new diets as received from Nursing Services
Ensure that food andsupplies for meals are readily available
Assist in inventoryingand storing incoming food supplies etc. as necessary
Cook Requirements
High school diploma orits equivalent
Knowledge of dietaryprocedures
COVID19 Vaccination
Preferred
At least oneyeardietary experience in a hospital skilled nursing facility or anotherrelated medical facility
