We are looking for an outstanding parttime staff accountant to join our small but growing team in Morrisville NC. Youll be responsible for maintaining and balancing accounts reconciling transactions resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance of accounting and finance processes and procedures. WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
- Compiling and analyzing financial information
- Leading the monthly closing process in close coordination with Bertelsmanns Accounting Shared Services
- Reviewing the General Ledger subledgers and payroll reconciliation
- Performing monthly and quarterly account analysis and reconciliations
- Calculating tracking and recording of sale commissions.
- Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure all transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Communicating with various companies departments and all levels of management
- Researching interpreting and resolving discrepancies
- Undertaking of special projects as assigned
YOUVE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 25 years of experience in Accounting or related field
- Experience with SAP or similar accounting software and good Excel knowledge
- Excellent planning followup and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work within time constraints
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
