Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Aerospace & Energy business unit. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives managing key accounts while fostering strong relationships with key decisionmakers.

The ideal candidate will possess a technical background with sales experience and a passion for expanding business opportunities. Great opportunity to grow your career in the Testing Inspection and Certification (TIC) Industry!

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets for Aerospace and Energy sectors
  • Customer Acquisition & Expansion Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers by understanding their testing needs.
  • Technical Sales Engagement Communicate Elements capabilities value proposition and competitive advantages to technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Market Development Research and analyze industry trends customer needs and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Pipeline & Opportunity Management Maintain an active sales pipeline prioritize highvalue opportunities and drive opportunities from lead to close using CRM tools.
  • Collaboration & CrossSelling Work closely with operations technical teams and other sales functions to provide comprehensive testing solutions for clients.
  • Account Management & Retention Develop longterm partnerships by ensuring client satisfaction handling escalations and driving repeat business.
  • Industry Representation Attend industry events trade shows and conferences to represent Element and build strategic partnerships.

Skills / Qualifications

  • 5 years successful technical sales experience
  • Engineering background in electrical mechanical or materials science is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of destructive and nondestructive testing methods standards and applications is desired
  • Experience interpreting laboratory testing procedures and requirements highly desired
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build trusted relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to bring in new business and drive revenue growth
  • Display strong verbal and written communication skills enabling you to clearly convey ideas and build relationships
  • Excellent organizational prioritization and time management skills
  • Bachelors Degree in Material Sciences or Engineering preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed
