Job Description
LOCATION:Philadelphia Pennsylvania
SALARY: $220000 to $240000

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
- The Child Protection Program was established in 2004 to provide comprehensive medical evaluations for suspected victims of abuse within the greater Philadelphia area.
- Current staff members include two board certified child abuse pediatricians a dedicated social worker nurse and support staff.
- Each year this program provides hundreds of medical evaluations for suspected cases of physical abuse sexual abuse and neglect.
- These multidisciplinary evaluations occur in the inpatient setting outpatient clinics as well as the citys regional Child Advocacy Center.
- The team works closely with local investigators to ensure timely communication of the medical findings with each case.
- The program is committed towards educating trainees as well as medical students residents and fellows in the region.
- Prospective candidates should have a vested interest in program development and education.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics (Separate Fellowship)
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric residency
- Graduate of an ACGME accredited Child Abuse Pediatric Fellowship
- Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment
- Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA
