What will you be doing
A driver is responsible for delivering Cosentino Products safely and efficiently to customers and warehouses. Those performing this job usually work alone and receive direction from Supervisors Dispatchers Warehouse Managers and in some cases Transportation Managers.
To succeed as a driver with us you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled committed to working safely and passionate about satisfying clients.
Our drivers are expected to work on two different fronts:
Delivering
Responsible for the distribution/collection of material to/from clients as required.
Ensure that the truck follows the required maintenance by DOT regulations and always travel with the necessary documentation.
Assist in moving material in warehouse with forklift and/or overhead crane.

Position blocks and ties straps/chains and binders for cargo securement.
Administration
Maintain drivers logbook
Accurate accounting of all freights delivered and/or picked up
Manage of all paperwork with special emphasis on inspections and hours of service required
Other duties as assigned
What are we looking for
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 3 years of experience driving with a Class A or B Drivers License (Depending on Location)
- Experience & proficiency with DOT Cargo Securement/Load Regulations.
- Clean Driving Record
- Must be able to pass random drug screens
- Drive company truck to distribute material to clients
- Collect material or returns from clients
- Responsible for ensuring that the truck follows the required maintenance
- Responsible for ensuring that the truck leaves with the necessary documentation wherever it is going
- Assist in the Warehouse as required preparing merchandise and other tasks in the warehouse.
Desired:
Previous Stone industry experience
EDUCATION
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Air Brake Endorsement
SKILLS
Required:
- Electronic Log Device (GEOTAB)
- Cargo Securement experience
- Experience managing email (Microsoft Outlook)
- Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
