Job Description

Description
  • Ensure accurate and timely payments for commissions overrides and quarterly bonuses to Independent Sales Representatives on submitted and renewed premiums adhering to established deadlines.
  • Monitor quality control measures in agent commission processing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct financial analysis on payments incentives and bonuses utilizing data analytics for trend analysis to identify patterns and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Handle various financial transactions related to commissions incentives and bonuses ensuring accuracy throughout the processes.
  • Lead and coordinate ad hoc and crossfunctional projects to drive improvements and innovations within the department leveraging project management skills to meet milestones and deliverables.
  • Utilize programming skills in languages such as SQL and Python and create Excel VBA macros to develop automated solutions that enhance efficiency in commission processing and reporting.
  • Implement process improvements based on findings from quality control and analytics ensuring continuous enhancement in commission processing efficiency.
  • Standardize documentation of processes related to agent commission processing to ensure clarity consistency and accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
  • Support training and development initiatives for the Field Compensation Team to enhance collaboration and share best practices.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to explore and streamline workflows in commission processing strengthening business relationships.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in finance Mathematics or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in analytics or compensation is essential.
  • Strong mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail paired with excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) along with advanced data analysis capabilities.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Visual Basic for developing and maintaining macros as well as proficiency in SQL and Python for automating processes.
  • Highly organized individual adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management and sales personnel.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Familiarity with sales compensation design and project management is considered a plus.
  • Selfmotivated and capable of working independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
