Teacher Educational Qualifications:
Teachers must have a minimum of a BA BS or AA degree from an accredited college or university preferably inearly childhood education child development elementary education or earlychildhood special education. Applicants with a degree in something other than the abovemusthave a minimum of 12 college credits in ECE CD Elem Educ and/or ECE Special Ed.
Salary $45000 $47000 annuallytransition to salary around 90 days)
Schedule Monday through Friday 40 hours per week.

Lead Teacher Job Description:
  • Support the emotional and educational needs of young children.
90 of a childs brain develops in the first 2000 days of life the time between birth
and the start of Kindergarten.Each day you should laugh play grow and learn as
you nurture and teach young children.
  • Intentionally prepare and maintain an enriched learning environment.
  • Routinely assess the needs of each child in their class and then use this assessment data to differentiate and individualize instruction to support each childs developing skills and knowledge.
  • Nurture children by responding to their interests and needs and making learning meaningful.
  • Implement the curriculum
  • Supervise other members of the teaching staff (Assistants and Substitutes)
  • Work cooperatively with diverse families administrators and team members.
  • Maintain a very high level of quality and excellence in early care and education by being able to understand articulate and meet the standards criteria curriculum and guidelines outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and Step Up to Quality and Creative Curriculum.
