Job Description
Presales Engineer ELV & Physical Security
Location: Bangalore
We are seeking a Presales Engineer specializing in ELV (ExtraLow Voltage) and Physical Security systems to join our team in Bangalore. This role is crucial in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise solution design and proposal development to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in CCTV access control fire alarm systems and building automation along with strong proficiency in AutoCAD for system design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Solution Design & Proposal Development
- Understand customer requirements and create tailored technical solutions for ELV & Physical Security systems.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and system architectures.
- Develop AutoCAD drawings for system layouts and technical presentations.
- Ensure proposed solutions meet technical industry and regulatory standards.
2. Client Engagement & Presentations
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients.
- Address customer queries and provide presales consultation to ensure clarity on proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to define client requirements and project scope.
- Build strong relationships with clients to enhance technical credibility and trust.
3. CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales project management and engineering teams to align proposed solutions with project feasibility.
- Assist in proofofconcept (PoC) deployments and technical evaluations.
- Support sales teams with technical insights to close deals successfully.
4. Industry & Technology Awareness
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in ELV and security systems.
- Conduct competitive analysis to ensure our solutions are marketleading.
- Recommend improvements to existing solutions based on industry trends.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of ELV & Physical Security systems including:
- CCTV Surveillance
- Access Control & Biometric Systems
- Fire Alarm & Building Automation Systems
- CCTV Surveillance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for system design and layout planning.
- Familiarity with networking and system integration in ELV environments.
- Strong understanding of technical standards and compliance requirements.
Soft Skills & Experience
- Experience: 4 years in presales system design or technical support within ELV & security domains.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills for solution development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex solutions effectively.
- Ability to work in a teamoriented fastpaced environment.
- Customerfocused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
