Project Manager Satellites (all genders)

Beyond Gravity headquartered in Zurich Switzerland is the first startup to combine agility speed and innovation with decades of experience and proven quality. Around 1600 employees at 12 locations in six countries (Switzerland Sweden Austria Germany USA and Finland) develop and manufacture products for satellites and launch vehicles with the goal of advancing humankind and enabling the exploration of the world and beyond. Beyond Gravity is the preferred supplier of structures for all types of launch vehicles and a leader in selected satellite products and for constellations in the New Space sector.Beyond Gravity also uses its space knowledge for applications outside of space technology: The highprecision products have already been used in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years.
Your main responsibilities
- Develop project specifications agree project plan baseline including scope key activities deliverables resource requirements milestones and deadlines
- Lead a global (sometimes largely virtual) project environment of qualified members from suppliers engineering and production team members and build strong relationships with customers
- Ensure team members are informed have clear goals and work collaboratively and in partnership with clients and other stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes
- Drive project ; track delivery; expect monitor and control change own change management; proactively seek and resolve blockers
- Conduct progress reviews to give stakeholders confidence that projects will deliver to time budget and agreed standards capture lessons learned to enable continuous improvement
- Support Marketing and Sales during the respective acquisition phase and negotiate (with cooperation of legal and sales) the resulting contract with the customer chain and subcontractors if any
Your profile
- Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Business fluent in English other languages and especially German would be an asset
- Experience in managing and overseeing customer projects including contract and claim management
- Experience of working in a multicultural multidisciplinary environment
- Resultsoriented and assertive mindset with advanced analytical skills
- Experienced user of MS Project
