This position is the process owner of the transport process responsible for developing monitoring and improving standard work processes for the team and ensuring compliance to set standards.The individual measures the performance and health of the process and is responsible for driving significant impact in cost service and process improvements for the transportation function.This position manages transport performance for KCNA KCP Global NonWovens and inbound raw materials making daily decisions that positively impact annual domestic transportation spend and ensure successful daily sales revenue recognition. The Transportation Senior Specialist serves as the subject matter expert in all transportation functions in SAP Blue Yonder TMS carrier EDI all FourKites systems (Track & Trace Dynamic Yard Appointment Manager and TracyAI).

In this role you will:

• Monitor daily transportation metrics to identify and close gaps in performance of both people and process; Perform regular data analysis to propose improvement recommendations related to daily and visibility (track & trace) processes within transportation
• Develop and monitor process and robotic automation tools that will have a direct impact on business results.Embrace AI as a solution to drive improvements
• Provide informal work direction of the daily inbound and outbound analysts including the monitoring of automation tools to ensure effectiveness and results.
• Manage team training data management and deployment of crossfunctional projects and strategic initiatives such as FourKites Visibility Appointment Manger and Dynamic Yard Maestro Control Tower carrier EDI events DPD BlueYonder SmartBench and others
• Influence both the shortterm and longterm vision for Transportation
• Collaborates with customers both internal and external to provide expertise and guidance on transport tools and processes; Work at all levels of the organization to escalate and resolve issues that impact customer OTIF; including but not limited to weather events customer hypercare liaison holiday and other warroom activities
• Collaborate across departments with Order Management Planning and Distribution COEs to ensure right first time quality for customer and intercompany volume
• Analyze transportation data processes procedures and systems to ensure optimal cost capacity and service across all shipments
• Develop and lead newhire training and onboarding of all new transportation team members specifically related to TMS Four Kites and SAP systems. Ensures knowledge transfer and capability of all process requirements and skills
• Continuously monitor industry activity and conduct peertopeer benchmarking across the transportation space to ensure bestinclass performance; Provides operations team leader coverage when needed

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Business Administration with a focus in Supply Chain; and 5 years of multiple supply chain experiences
• Requires a high degree of analysis collaboration problem solving and subject matter expertise in systems such as BlueYonder TMS Excel SAP/BI reporting PowerBI FourKites
• Influence across multiple levels of the Supply Chain organization; Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and initiatives
• Demonstrated capability to analyze complex circumstances and develop effective action plans
• Manufacturing Customer Logistics and/or Distribution network knowledge a plus
• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve processes and services

Location: there is preference for this role to sit out of the office in Knoxville TN. However there may be consideration for this role to be remotebased in the USA.

Salary Range: $85550 $105800 USD

At KimberlyClark pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve thrive and grow. Along with base pay this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite including our 401(k) and ProfitSharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as location role skills performance and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.

Grade 10/P3: Grade level and/or compensation may vary based on location
