You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Long Beach City Attorneys Office is seeking an experienced civil litigation secretary (legal assistant) to join our Litigation Division. A successful candidate will have a significant civil litigation secretarial background with an emphasis in personal injuryand be able to provide direct secretarial support with little to no supervision to two attorneys each of whom has a heavy caseload in serious personal injury/wrongful death. The position may be filled at grade level II or III depending on the qualifications of the person selected.
SPECIAL NOTE
This is an atwill unclassified position. The appointed candidate will serve at the discretion of the City Attorney and can be terminated at any time. In such an event the candidate has no right to any appeal or grievance procedure under any rule or regulation of the City of Long Beach.
Minimum of three 3 years of paid fulltime experience working as a civil litigation secretary in a personal injury practice.
