Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive a safetyfirst culture ensuring compliance with all HSE regulations and company policies.
- Oversee and coordinate site operations including production maintenance and dispatch teams ensuring production targets and quality standards are met whilst delivering in full and on time to our customers.
- Manage site costs and budgets including labour raw materials conversion costs and waste reduction.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to optimise plant performance.
- Ensure effective staff management including recruitment training development and succession planning.
- Maintain a customerfocused approach ensuring service delivery and performance KPIs are met.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong background in operations management with a handson approach and expertise in process efficiency and cost control.
- Experience managing industrial relations and working within unionised environments.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with a resultsdriven mindset.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations quality systems and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external.
- Experience in managing budgets forecasting and KPI reporting.
