Job Description

Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Pain Management

Innovative Pain Care Mount Pleasant WI

As a result of company growthInnovative Pain Care (IPC)is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP); Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team of providers at an independent interventional pain management clinic located in Mount Pleasant WI. The NP/PA will work in close collaboration with our physicians and health care team members to serve our patients as a healthcare resource interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality medical care evaluation and treatment to 1522 patients each day
  • Communicate and collaborate with supervising physicians regarding treatment plans
  • Educate patients and their family members regarding interventional pain procedures
  • Maintain accurate and efficient documentation of patient encounters
  • Review imaging and lab reports make necessary recommendations based on results
  • Perform inoffice procedures including knee injections shoulder injections trigger point injections bursa injections and occipital nerve blocks
  • Assessment postoperative procedures
  • Collaborating with fellow advanced practice providers regarding patient care
  • Stay current on opioid prescribing guidelines outlined by the CDC DEA and State of Wisconsin

Requirements:

  • Completion of bachelors and masters degrees from accredited programs
  • Must maintain a current medical license and DEA license
  • 23 years of experience as an advanced practice provider is preferred
  • Experience in pain management or orthopedics is preferred
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to travel to offsite locations as needed
  • Ability to participate in weekend oncall schedule (approximately once every 68 weeks)

Job Type: Fulltime Pay: $100000 $120000 annually depending on experience Work Location: In person/onsite
