Job Description
WE HAVE A NEW STARTING PAY $17/$19hr...FT/PT openings
Major Duties
- Provide high quality therapeutic care for children ranging in age from 618 years of age within the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
- Provide life skills instruction coping and team building skills for each child.
- Encourage physical emotional and behavioral growth and development for youth.
- Maintain the safety and security of the children in care and attend to their needs in a nurturing way.
- Provides complete documentation as required.
- Be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged excellence is rewarded leadership is valued and diversity is respected.
- Able to work open shifts 7:00 am 5:00 pm or 12:00 pm 10:00 pm or overnights 10:00 pm 8:00 am. Weekend availability is required.
To be considered for this position you will need:
Minimum:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age with valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with children and teens
- Ability to lead a group in an activity
- Commitment integrity and adaptability
- Enthusiasm sense of humor and patience
Preferred:
- College credit hours in social work psychology or related mental health fields from an accredited college.
- Aptitude to work with youth who have emotional and behavioral challenges.
