How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.

  • Responsible for generating managing maintaining updating and reporting launch satellite systems schedules
  • Participate in planning design implementation of schedule risk management activities and associated functions
  • Collaborate with engineering operations and production departments to review the product development programs and to contribute to planning process development decision making resolution of issues and identification of and management of programmatic risks
  • Manage and oversee schedule reporting including critical and driving path identification
  • Make recommendations to Product Heads and Program Managers on schedule improvement initiatives including the restricting and reprioritisation of activities to achieve deadlines
  • Act as an expert advisor to the Product Heads and Program Managers on forecasted program effects of proposed or realised change
  • Evaluate and provide analysis on subcontractor or partner schedule and performance claims
  • Work with the Human Resources team to grow the Gilmour Space team as required
  • Maintain and grow your professional skillsets in the program management and scheduling profession
  • Other duties as requested by Management
Mandatory Qualifications Skills and Experience:
  • Sustained enthusiasm and interest in space technology and its application for space commercialisation and exploration
  • 5 years experience in a Program Management Office (or equivalent) developing and managing complex program schedules ideally in a Defence and or Aerospace industry program
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling software platforms (e.g. MS Project Primavera)
  • Exceptional work ethic initiative attention to detail and ability to obtain and retain new information
  • Demonstrable analytical and creative problemsolving skills
  • Team oriented excellent ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment to multiple deadlines
  • Flexible team player who is looking to thrive in a fastgrowing environment
Desired Qualifications Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
  • NV1 Security Clearance
