We are looking for an experienced individual to join our postaward grants team. A successful candidate is curious loves to learn and enjoys detailed work. Our team provides comprehensive administrative oversight of Sponsored funds awarded to Huntsman Cancer Institutes Principal Investigators. Additionally we serve as liaison to the Office of Sponsored Projects OSP Grants & Contracts Accounting GCA and other campus entities as necessary. Responsibilities
Additional Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting (or a related field) or eight years of work experience in administration accounting and/or general office supervision. Three to five years experience overseeing complex grants; NIH experience is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description as well as the selfdiscipline integral to successfully telecommute. Experience with University of Utah systems including Management Reports ePR UShop and eAward. Experience managing NIH or other Federal funding is required. This position is not responsible for providing patient care. Responsibilities Postaward team members perform accurate grant accounting assist with timely submission of progress and final reporting to Sponsors calculate effort monitor subcontracts facilitate subcontract amendments and work with OSP and GCA to ensure all institutional requirements are met. Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree or Bachelors degree four years of related experience or 12 years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
