Responsibilities
Revolutionis now hiring for an Industrial Electrician position in Mesquite TX. This role will be responsible for keeping all equipment operating through preventive and asneeded maintenance and documenting all repairs. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy efficiency and accountability.
- Ensure all safety and precautionary measures are met by adhering to company policy and state and federal regulations.
- Installs inspects tests operates and repairs of all electrical switchgear systems branch circuits power distribution wiring electrical equipment fixtures and conduit.
- Must be able to troubleshoot lighting control systems and related components.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical devices motor starters relays contractors etc.
- Must be able to use a variety of electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot test and trace circuitry.
- Advises the supervisor on job progress and material/ labor requirements.
- Works with departments to plan and complete tasking.
- The ability to read desing drawings and wiring diagrams required.
- Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and keep records.
- Responds to any emergency repair/maintenance as scheduled and keep records.
- Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running
- Maintains accounts for tools used.
- All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Industrial Electronics or similar field. (preferred)
- Minimum two years of electrical experience in an industrial environment.
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Ability to perform work without supervision.
- Necessary math skills Addition subtraction and multiplication to record accurate reports.
- Essential reading and writing skills.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Climbing stairs and working from secured platforms.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions.
- Requires occassional stooping kneeling crounching and crawling.
- Bilingual preferred but not required (English/Spanish).
