This role sets up tests and operates equipment for live events such as conferences meetings concerts and virtual classrooms. This position requires the ability to work with both minimal supervision and in a team environment. It is important to have some knowledge of sound systems video projection and lighting along with a strong desire to further develop those skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive vehicles (Large vans with trailers and trucks)
Load and unload equipment from vehicles
Setup breakdown of equipment at events to include operation of equipment
Restock equipment in proper location
Check and test equipment to ensure proper working order after event or upon rental return to ensure LHS standards are met or exceeded
Create repair tickets and turn items in for service
Check equipment in/out
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Commercial Buildings Schools University Buildings State Local and Federal Government Properties including nonconditioned indoor environments and outdoor work at times
TRAVEL/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Hours of work will vary depending on client needs but will typically include MF with some weekends. Overnight travel is required for this position.

REQUIRED SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Basic knowledge of technical principles and operation of electronic equipment preferred
Acceptable Driving Record and ability to get Medical DOT Card
Experience driving trailers and large vehicles Ability to drive manual preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work irregular hours to include nights weekends and holiday
Ability to travel if needed.
Ability to ascend/descend ladders or platforms to set up equipment
Possession of or ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate and/or CDL
Acceptable driving record
Ability to pass preemployment drug screen and background check
MINIUMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
35 years experience in audio visual with projectors sound systems lighting etc.
13 years experience in customer service
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physically and mentally fit
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. at a time
Alert focused and detailoriented
Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts
