Job Description
Position
We are seeking an Intensivist in our stateoftheart critical care unit. This role offers an opportunity to deliver lifesaving care collaborate with leading medical professionals and advance your expertise in a dynamic and patientfocused environment.
Qualifications
- Either (a)MD in Medicine or Anaesthesia with 12 years ofexperience in critical care or (b) MD with fellowship in critical care
- 05 years experience in critical care of a reputed hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care including routine and emergency coverage in the critical care unit.
- Perform critical care procedures such as central line insertion IV channelization and intubation and operate critical care equipment such as ventilators.
- Ensure adherence to clinical safety hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients including responding promptly to changes in their condition and reporting complex health issues to the concerned consultant.
- Participate in daily rounds independently or alongside consultants following up on patient care plans and implementing necessary changes.
- Prepare accurate and detailed treatment sheets progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Communicate effectively with patients families colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure highquality patient care.
- Assist in the assessment of new admissions to the ICU and manage pain relief protocols where required.
- Follow the departments oncall and duty schedule as assigned.
