Position Summary
The Plating Technician will perform most tasks in the plating area working with materials such as gold copper tin/nickel and solder. You will also be required to mix chemicals as needed and will need to take and understand instructions from your supervisor. Must be OK to ask questions for clarification and communicate clearly and effectively. This person will monitor boards in the appropriate plating tanks overseeing the processing with meticulous attention to detail and oversight. The Plating Technician will need to perform visual and mechanical inspection of plated first articles to ensure quality and compliance of specifications. This person must be open to communicating problems to team members and supervisors and receiving constructive feedback.

- Mix chemicals accurately with direction
- Monitor quality objectives of assigned tasks

Physical Requirements
- Shop experience a plus
- Ability to stand stoop bend twist and maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
- Complete repetitive movements with hands arms wrists shoulders as necessary
- Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
- Lift move or transport items up to 30 pounds without assistance or injury
- Specific visual abilities to examine parts
- Wear protective clothing
- Ability to work around dust chemicals and other substances
