Job Description
Job Summary:
Rupal Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and efficient Housekeeper to join our team at our hotel voco The Cadence in Niagara Falls New York. As a Housekeeper you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel is maintained at a high standard. This is a fulltime hourly position and the ideal candidate will be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Housekeeper role at Rupal Hospitality offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $16 per hour paid on a weekly basis. Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms including changing linens dusting vacuuming and sanitizing all surfaces
- Stock and organize supply closets and carts with necessary cleaning supplies and amenities
- Ensure all areas of the hotel including common areas and guest rooms are free of debris and clutter
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to management promptly
- Assist with laundry duties including washing drying and folding linens and towels
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and employees
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner
- Complete other tasks assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Flexibility to work weekends holidays and early mornings as needed
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products techniques and standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
