Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Assist in aspects of driving growth for our US Canada and Digital Distribution channels of sale including experience analysis forecasting/assumption setting and use actuarial product knowledge. Uses necessary software (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint SQL Power BI).
RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs fundamental actuarial tasks relating to rate determination rating automation experience analysis and interpreting state filings.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree preferably in Actuarial Science Mathematics Economics or Statistics
- Passed 2 exams actively pursuing Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong math aptitude and business sense
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Reliability to achieve quality accuracy and timelines of work products
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Economics Statistics or other related degrees
The pay range for the role is $62200 to $74000. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and other factors. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
