Syntelligent is seeking a fulltimeCartographic Analystfor awarded work with a federal client.
Location: Springfield VA
Schedule: 3:00 11:00 p.m. or 3:00 midnight with a 1hr lunch2nd shift)
Anticipated Salary Range: $
Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Work within a government/contractor team environment providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion Production and Review.
- Support existing and developing mission areas including Digital Nautical Chart or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
- Perform cartographic and GIS analysis by extracting features from various sources such as rasterized nautical charts digital hydrographic survey data and orthorectified imagery.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

- High School diplomaand5 years of relevant military or fulltime geospatial professional experience.
- High School diplomaand4 years of experienceplusGPC Level I and II certification.
- Relevant Bachelors degreeand2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in geography cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with proficiency in ArcGIS applications.
- Knowledge of digital cartography GIS production techniques and NGA digital data formats.
- Ability to analyze imagery and nonimagery source data for hydrographic products and databases.
Clearance: TS/SCI with a willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph
Mental Requirements: Must be able to multitask and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for longperiods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.
