Job Brief Hourly Cafe Restaurant Manager responsibilities include monitoring daily expenses and revenues administrative duties including some ordering of supplies training of staff and leading the guest experience. Key manager should be available to work during opening and closing hours including weekends and holidays. Ultimately you will help increase profitability boost customer engagement turn our cafe into a favorite local spot and get hands on managerial training with potential to grow in a wellestablished industry leader.
Responsibilities - Manage daytoday operations of the cafe restaurant.
- Assist in hire and onboard new wait staff and baristas.
- Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed (Ex: To go cups coffee milk and other ingredients)
- Maintain updated records of daily weekly and monthly revenues and expenses.
- Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers preferences (for example vegan coffee drinks)
- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy.
- Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
Requirements and Skills - Work experience as a restaurant Key Manager/Barista/Sommelier
- Must have heightened wine knowledge
- Experience in creating executing and driving a Drink Program in a fullservice restaurant
- Handson experience with professional coffee machines wine and spirits is a plus
- Basic math skills
- Availability to work within opening and closing hours (including weekends and holidays)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to lead the guest experience with an attention to detail and the highest standards of service.
