The Software Engineer shallparticipate in all Lean Agile scrums sprints and grooming sessions. The team shall:

Description
The Software Engineer shallparticipate in all Lean Agile scrums sprints and grooming sessions. The team shall:
- Manage the progress of CommercialOffTheShelf (COTS) product integration and development efforts.
- Ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Consult and coordinate appropriately for problem resolution task scheduling new resource requirements and task clarification.
- Understand the cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Coordinate and collaborate with security operations engineering testing and other teams to provide system information and technical support.
- Create manage and update Jira tickets. The Contractor team shall design develop and modify software systems.
- Document and track vendor software roadmaps for software and patch version updates.
- Unit test their software and perform code reviews.
Clearance
A current TopSecret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience
Required skills:
- Demonstrated experience developing detailed design and associated deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience translating customer and system requirements into design.
- Demonstrated experience designing system interfaces.
- Demonstrated handson experience developing Applications using the following technologies or something similar: SOLR Elastic Postgres Java Scala RDS or spring boot.
- Demonstrated handson experience working with relational and nonrelational database systems such as Amazon RDS DynamoDB and Postgres.
- Demonstrated handson experience with and troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat Nodejs Web Services or SSL.
- Demonstrated handson experience developing JUnit and Jasmine tests.
- Demonstrated experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma.
- Demonstrated handson experience working with DevOps tools such as Git Jenkins or Nexus
Desired skills:
- Demonstrated experience managing network topologies (VPNs subnets) traffic routing and firewalls.
- Demonstrated experience performing database administration to include standing up new databases configuration user administration and scripts to backup restore dev test and prod database instances.
- Demonstrated experience with the Sponsors organization or mission.
- Demonstrated experience in Sponsors enterprise capabilities and how to utilize them in delivering modern technology solutions.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with Sponsors authentication services and PKI certificates.
- Demonstrated experience with Sponsors A&A process and supporting systems.
- Demonstrated experience addressing big data problem sets such as entity resolution text analytics pattern of life and social network analysis.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
