ThePurposeof Your Role
The Financial Analyst position within the Fidelity Brokerage Operations and Technology (FBOT) Finance function specifically supporting Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) will be an integral member of the financial planning and analysis team reporting to the Vice President of Finance. The position will provide analytical and business decision support of the FFIO and FFIO Technology (FFIOT) businesses and functions/services. Additionally the role will support headcount nonlabor expense Technology Business Management (TBM) and Next Generation of Allocated Views (NGAV) through planning reporting and analysis. The analyst will have an opportunity to provide a broad range of financial analytics along with the planning and reporting of expense and headcount including trends variance analysis pricing and unit costing metrics as well as ad hoc analysis to drive improved decision making at all levels of the organization while also supporting the planning process.
TheExpertiseWere Looking For
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting economics or equivalent experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience preferably in a finance role
- Excellent verbal and written communication with high level of comfort with data management
- Strong knowledge and experience with financial and presentation tools (e.g. Excel PowerPoint Word) is required and experience with other financial tools (e.g. TBM Anaplan PowerBI and Tableau) is preferred.

- Develop a strong understanding of FFIO & FFIOT financial results technology development and core & maintenance spending and allocation model to apply that knowledge to variance analyses including P&B
- Support the Portfolio 180 and Track IT program related to FFIO/T investment portfolio planning and actual results
- Maintain financial allocations to reflect evolving business models while leveraging new tools and business knowledge
- Support the annual planning process including forecasts inclusive of Quarterly Technology Review (QTR) risk & opportunity analysis and the use of the Anaplan tool
- Support the wire reimbursement process via TRAX as required
- Remain current on the latest best practices of Finance and FP&A and shares those learnings with the function
- Proactive partnership and communication with multiple business and finance partners
