Special Education Long Term Substitute Teacher The Sudbury Public Schools a prek8 district is seeking a skilled experienced and dynamic Long Term Substitute to work as a Special Educator. The special education sub will work in a model of service delivery offering academic and behavioral support coteaching and inclusionary practices in general education classrooms combined with pull out instruction for small groups and individuals. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Plan for the effective instruction and intervention for students on IEPs; Administer formal diagnostic assessment and tests for students initially referred and for threeyear reevaluations of caseload students; Administer ongoing progress monitoring strategic monitoring and benchmark systems; Schedule prepare for and attend Team meetings for newly referred and caseload students; Write comprehensive progress reports; Collaborate with general education staff with respect to appropriate accommodations and modifications; Provide ongoing positive communication with parents; Collect and analyze student data against IEP goals; Other related duties as assigned. Substitute Pay Guidelines: $250/day (more than 8 weeks) DESE license required
