Physical Demands
Frequently: Standing Walking Bending Squatting Kneeling Repetitive hand motion Prolonged use of computer. Occasionally: Lifting a minimum of thirty 30 pounds Climbing.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: College student at NMHU enrolled with a minimum of six 6 credit hours. High school diploma or GED . Experience: Some clerical/office experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred class standing: Classified as sophomore junior or senior. Minimum class standing: successfully completed one semester. Be in good academic and disciplinary standing 3.0 GPA or higher) Exhibit a high level of motivation initiative and responsibility Willingness to learn and share information about the NMHU community student life and campus resources Exhibit a positive attitude with a high level of energy and dedication Excellent public speaking skills Effective in time management: organized selfdisciplined Able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and willingness to learn about different cultures Exhibit a high level of interpersonal and communication skills Genuine desire to help peers succeed Demonstrated leadership potential Willingness to learn about different cultures Ability to maintain effective working relationships with faculty students university community and the general public.
