CNA-Med Tech Weekend Warrior

Hibbards Skilled Nursing &Rehabilitation Center makes available an every weekend scheduling option to CNAMsnewly hired in the Nursing department on a limited basis. Employees must make acommitment to enroll in the program for twentysix 26 consecutive weekends(six months). During this period the employee will be scheduled to work aminimum of three 3 twelve 12 hour shifts per weekend.

For the purpose of defining thisprogram the weekend begins on Friday at 6:30am and ends on Monday evening at7:00pm.

We are searching fora qualified and selfmotivated certified medication tech to join our medicalfacility. You will perform a variety of patient care duties includingadministering medication reporting changes collecting samples and recordingmedication dosages.

The ideal CNAMed Tech will beextremely detailoriented and possess indepth knowledge of patient careprocedures. Providing excellent patient care is a vital part of this job whichis why excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

CertifiedNursing Assistant Med Tech Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine daily medications either prescription or nonprescription to patients.
• Coordinate with different nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
• Record medication dosages and times.
• Observe patients and document changes in their condition.
• Gather samples for analysis.
• Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Respond to patient emergency call signals bells or intercom systems to identify patient needs.

CNA Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Must be a graduate of a stateapprovedCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and on the Maine CNA Registry
• Able to work scheduled shifts committingto being there for your team and Residents
• Must be able interact our computerbasedElectronic Medical Record system
• Adhere to State of Maine requirements forvaccinations including Covid19
