OVERVIEW: Marc JacobsInternational powered bythe creative genius of Marc Jacobs seeks a Wholesale Account Manager LATAM & Majors (Consultant) to join the Wholesale teambased in itsNew York City (SoHo) headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wholesale Account Manager to drive expansion of our distribution network within the Latin American (LATAM) market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying developing and managing wholesale accounts across the LATAM region with a focus on achieving sales targets and building strong sustainable partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of the LATAM business landscape excellent communication and negotiation skills and a proven track record of success in wholesale account management. Experience managing domestic major department store accounts is a plus. This is a 46month assignment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Market Research & Account Identification:Conduct thorough market research to identify potential wholesale partners in key LATAM countries. Analyze market trends competitive landscape and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Account Acquisition:Proactively prospect and onboard new wholesale accounts ensuring alignment with companys strategic goals. Develop and execute strategies to attract and secure new business.
Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with key decisionmakers at wholesale accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Sales Target Achievement:Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets. Develop and implement sales plans to maximize revenue and market share.
Product Knowledge & Training:Possess indepth knowledge of our product portfolio and effectively communicate product features benefits and value proposition to wholesale partners. Provide training and support to ensure partners are equipped to successfully market and sell our products.
Marketing & Promotional Activities:Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing and promotional campaigns tailored to the LATAM market. Support wholesale partners with marketing materials events and other promotional activities.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:Accurately forecast sales and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular reports on sales performance market trends and competitive activity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in wholesale account management with a focus on the LATAM market.
Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
Deep understanding of the LATAM business culture market dynamics and distribution channels.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in Spanish and English is required; Portuguese is a plus.
Ability to travel domestically to dept store accounts as well as the LATAM region as needed.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: The compensation for this position ranges from $50 $60 (hourly). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates relevant skills and experience.
